Finally, the NObama administration is sending more manpower to guard our border. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms will be sending 37 more agents to help stop the flow of arms to the drug cartels. The border is ONLY 1969 miles long. That means we will now have an extra pair of boots on the ground every 53.216 miles! That should do the trick, right!? Let them dirty gun smugglers try getting more guns to Mexico now! They'll be sorry. Yeah, right! You really ought to follow this link for the rest of the story. Talk about a piss hole in a snow bank! Like this will do any good. How about sending 37,000 troops instead!

Yeah this is an extreme joke. Seems like someone is trying to destroy our country! It gives all the conspiracy theory people a lot of ammunition to run with.

Meanwhile, one of the idiot senators from California grilled an ATF official, trying to get him to "admit" most narco-terrorist get their firearms from the USA.
"Au contraire" said the witness. US origin weapons may account for 10% of the total.
Not happy with that, the idiot Feinsten asked the same question three times; the response didn't change.
So where are these weapons coming from? Well, remember several months back when Sen. Hutcheson suggested that the US should sell modern (high tech) weapons to Mexico so that they could deal with narco-terroists? Now it turns out that the narco-terrorists are getting a large number of weapons from ... yep, the Mexican Army and police agencies. And we're talking about some .50 cal machineguns.
Conclusion: The path to hell is paved with good intentions. Maybe what we should focus MORE on is protecting our own borders, and let Mexico deal with its own problems. Oh, and maybe ... just maybe, our politicians should stop trying to blame their own country for the fact that Mexico is now, has always been, and always will be, a third-world cesspool.

Thank you all good friends for stopping by and commenting on this subject. It goes way beyond shameful how our government has been treating this whole illegal alien/border security situation. This is not new with our not-so-illustrious President, it goes back for decades. The problem grows every day because of the Billios of dollars involved with the drug cartels. It is already way past time to do something about it, and 37 more agents will accomplish spit! What will it take, an all out civil war?? Our politicians on both sides better wake the ____up!!
Another question needs to be asked. Are those extra men there to stop the illegals or stop the minutemen and arrest border guards that actually do their jobs?
Shoprat, supposedly they will be working on catching gun smugglers. Time will tell the real story.
What I think's that it's best to take care of the borders against arms smuggling to send as many soldiers a battle isn't ours, because we have more problems here which deserve all the attention!
