Turkish and Iranian artillery shelled areas in northern Iraq used by the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and its Iranian offshoot, Iraqi Kurdish reports said yesterday.
Turkish artillery units shelled the Nihel and Rekan border area in addition to Spendar and Betkar in the Barwary Bala area, Pukmedia, a Web site affiliated with Iraqi President Jalal Talabani's Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) reported yesterday, citing a local source. The shelling continued until 8:00 a.m. on Sunday morning and no casualties were reported, Pukmedia said.
Iran, which is fighting the PKK's Iranian wing, the Party for a Free Life in Kurdistan (PJAK), also shelled three border towns in northern Iraq where PJAK members are believed to be operating, an Iraqi Kurdish official said yesterday.

AA,
Here's some even more disturbing news about Iran's actions in the Middle East.
Thanks C.H. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if this is true. Iran is probable next on the list.
They are certainly pushing the envelope. Me thinks, they better pull in their horns or they might be cut off....That is unless the state department was involved, back door stuff, you know????I haven't hear it reported in the national news yet....stay well...
Hope one day people will learn to live together, and all terror groups like Al-Qaeda, who try to stop modern cultures grow, or PKK child killers, who try to divide, take over countries and name it Kurdistan will be history.
Killing innocent civilians is a crime against humanity. We will never allow them succeed. God bless all those innocents murdered in terror attacks.
