And the winner is...............

Joe The Plumber! That's right ladies and gentlemen, the undisputed winner of last night's debate is Joe the Plumber. For a guy that is planning to start a new business, that free publicity will be worth a small fortune. He seems like a rather likable guy, level-headed, intelligent, and sceptical of politicians, especially NOBAMA. I especially like the way he is looking ahead to the possibilities. He may not make $250,000 next year, but what about a few years down the road? What happens when NOBAMA decides that $100,000 needs higher taxes? Katie Couric interviews Joe and surprisingly treats him very well, no real hard questions like with Sarah Palin. Hmmm.

Katie asked Joe what he thought of the debate. He said he wasn't swayed either way, though he seems to be leaning towards one of the candidates. Katie presses Joe to fess up on who he plans to vote for, and he answers that that is between him and the voting lever. What a sly devil. Just from his other answers, I know who it is. It's McCain/Palin! In a 90 minute debate last night, Joe Wurzelbacher's name was used 26 times! the word Iraq came up 6 times, and the economy, the most important issue of the year was echoed a mere 16 times. I'd say both contenders thought Joe was that important! After a rather short interview, Katie had to let Joe get back to his adoring fan club. It seems like he had three local news vans waiting out in front of his house. A REAL hometown hero.

You may view the interview and read the entire transcript from CBS News at this link. It really is a remarkable story, mainly because it was reported at all, seeings how it is good news for our side!

JOE THE PLUMBER SECRETLY ENDORSES MCCAIN/PALIN!

UPDATE:Joe the Plumber is quickly becoming more famous than American Idol! We have definitely not heard the last of him. NOBAMA will have to do damage control if he wants to prevent a big slide. Just Google "Joe the Plumber" to see how famous he has become OVERNIGHT!

It would be pretty strange if joe the plumber is what turns this election around.

Average American said...

He will have some impact! I thought he did a great job with Katie Couric considering he probably only had the one previous courtship with notoriety at the NOBAMA thing. Do you agree that he pretty much endorsed McCain? And will people see it that way?

McCain needs all the help he can get right now there isn’t a lot of opportunities left to capitalize on.

People like Joe had better wake up because socialists like Obama have big plans for people like him. Which ever way you look at it, the ideals of making every one a bit wealthier is all well and good, but unless you can make everyone work, you always have to take from those who have (because they worked for it) and give to those who didn't work for it.

I already know what life under an Obama is like, you see we already have socialised medicine, welfare and the resulting high taxation that's needed to fund all this. Let me tell ya, it's downright demoralizing knowing that working extra not only leaves you tired but it also means you pay more and more in tax. The harder you work the more you get punished via taxation so some parasite can get a free cheque every month.

Joe Plumber will have at least 1000 write-ins! LOL! Go JOE!

My friends, I sorry to say it but it's all over.
John "Bob Dole" McCain just did not hit it over the fence.
Not that he didn't give it his best, but his best was not good enough for the lying, cheating, Marxist, phoney, racist, elitist Hussein Obama.
We can talk about Ayers & Dohrn, Jeremiah Wright, Jesse Jackson, and ACORN all day long but it just don’t seem to matter.
You can blame it on a few things,
1. He has run a lousy campaign, thus by calling him Bob Dole.
2. The Media won’t give him a break.
3. His own base the so called Conservatives with "Principles" won’t get on his bandwagon but they would rather tear him apart. (Enter President Barack Hussein Obama)
4. The stupidity and the blondness of the Leftist American voters.
But bend over my friends and kiss your ass's goodbye!

Mccainpalin, I like your screen name! Welcome to my blog, I hope you enjoyed what you found here. I think he found the independent voters months ago, the polls just don't show it. I live in N.H., where the polls show NOBAMA up about 10%, but you would never know it by looking for signs, looking for bumper stickers, or talking to people. N.H. will be RED this year! So won't a lot of other states that the polls paint blue.

MK, I don't envy you Australians your liberalism. I just hope we can avert the same fate. Redistribution of wealth is the destroyer of achievement. As much as I distain welfare programs in general, I absolutely abhor using the IRS to implement them. The day the first return was filed which returned more money than was withheld from that person, was the day we started "going to hell in a handbasket". A tax has NO BUSINESS being a negative number! With all the refundable tax credits out there today, millions and millions of Americans pay ZERO taxes, and in fact, collect their welfare benefit via the IRS refund! That sucks!

Neo, soc, he may get a LOT MORE than 1000! I'd rather he get them than NOBAMA, or third party "message" votes.

Debbie, I like Joe! He has his head screwed on tight, and he has the best name a man can have. lol.

Bob, don't be such a pessimist! I have not heard the fat lady sing, have you? There are countless elections where the polls were DEAD WRONG! This is just another such election. Your point #4 is sure to piss off the few blonds that are not leftist my friend. I hope they don't manage to get ahold of your real world address, (as I chuckle to myself).

Hi Brooke, I guess I should have refreshed my screen before I hit the post comment button. Whether you meant Joe the Plumber or me, I bet we BOTH will vote, and vote the right way. I also think the millions upon millions of "Joe's" out there that we never hear of are planning to vote the right way also.

The worries of Joe are the same worries of those small business owners who will have no option, following January 20th, other than to lay off persons and charge more money for goods and services. It is NOT, I repeat NOT the job of American businesses to LOSE money simply because a government hack wishes redistribution of money.

BV, the stupidity of his/their redistribution of wealth philosophy should be so easy to see. WE see it, they(the leftards) have to open their eyes and stop dreaming. I don't think he will win, but if he manages to, we are in DEEP shit.

I hope that the Joe the Plumber schtick will wake up the lazy conservatives who are holding out on "principle." Try socialist principle knuckleheads. The TV people gripe me because they focus too much on how something is said rather than what is said. I think McCain tried to bring the public's attention to BO's propensity to speak out of both sides of his mouth and his arse at the same time. That's eloquence.

Obama made the mistake of publicly confronting the real world. He needs to do that a few more times.

I hope there are more "Joe Plumbers" than there are Madonna's. I suspect the polls reflect attitudes among the latter, than they do the former.

The WordSmith from Nantucket said...

My friends, I sorry to say it but it's all over.

Don't throw in the towel. Too much is at stake to contribute to the media-pile on chipping away at our morale.

Keep fighting! Drag McCain's sorry ass across that finish line if he can't run on his own.

How long do you think it will be befor Saturday Night Live makes a fool out of Joe the Plumber?

I say One Week

Anonymous said...

I knew they will get to Joe, and today they did. It didn't take these CREEPS long to distroy anyone who dared to go against them

Average American said...

L&OTeacher, NOBAMA talks to talk, but he doesn't walk the walk. He pretends to be moderate these days, but we know that wolf in sheep's clothing.

Shoprat, that's for sure, but I hope Joe the plumber doesn't backfire. MSM is already crucifying him because he isn't liscensed or unionized.

Average American said...

Mustang, I think there are a LOT of Joes out there, and I think they will relate to him and his views, license or no license.

Wordsmith, McCain can't do it alone, and we all know that, but we also know that he has the "right" people to help him win, and win he will! Bob is being way to pessimistic. The polls are wrong---again!

Conservative, really, a whole week, I'm not so sure. After recent revelations, maybe he deserves a little razzing.

Throwing stones, the media is ruthless, and they don't care who they have to steamroll. Any threat to the messiah will be met with all the power they have to weild. I do however wish that he was a LICENSED plumber. It would be a lot less embarrassing.

If only the canidates had half of Joe's common sense, we would have it made. Kudos for him for sticking up for himself and the rest of the middle class! It's a shame McCain didn't take after him!

Me, Myself, And I said...

Amen to this post Joe

"They say that happiness is just a man called Joe...."

You can say that again, Julie!

Average American said...

Jennifer, that is the problem, common sense is an oxymoron, it is actually not very common, especially in Washington D.C. I think their water pipes are all lead. I wonder if Joe will see the day when he wishes he had never talked to NOBAMA. There is a fine line between becoming famous and becoming infamous.

Hello myself(now that sounded weird), welcome to my humble abode. Thank you for dropping by, hope you enjoyed your visit. I believe there are millions and millions of Joe's out there just waiting to vote against NOBAMA. He sure rose to stardom quickly didn't he?

Z, I'd like to think that the bulk of us commoners are fairly happy, at least happier than the rich folks, and the really poor folks. The rich are always worried about how they will get richer and therefor more powerful. The really poor have to worry about what is more important to them, their food, or their medicine, or their housing. If they are working or trying to work, I feel terrible for their plight and have no problem with my taxes helping them. If they are not workers, but government parasites, then I have no problem kicking them to the curb. Of course this type of poor have it better than we do. And therein lies the problem. I'm rambling, got to get some sleep.

I don't know yet if he is a winner or will he be distroyed by the Obamies

hey Joe!,,youre spot on..lets hope he helps turn this horrific tide my friend!!!

Hi Angel, yes, I think Joe will help a little. He got a bit of a media bashing, but that may be helpful too. Most Americans don't like the little guy getting trashed. We just had a vist from Todd Palin Wednesday. Quite the down to earth guy! The more regular people we have on our side the better. That's why Palin was such a great pick for VP.

We only have 4 electoral votes here in NH, but I feel confident that they will be red this year. The polls show NOBAMA winning by over 10%, but there is just NO WAY that can happen. I am actually havibg a rather hard time finding NOBAMA supporters to try to convert. I am in the northern part of the state, so maybe it's different south of here, but I am hearing it's the same down there.

Texas Truth said...

He certainly did put some "excitment" into the debate.

Average American said...

He sure has T.T. Only in America could an Average Joe off the street become famous overnight. Doesn't the left hate him! It didn't take them long to attack.

The Griper said...

the problem is that they changed the focus. they are trying to get people's mind on joe himself instead of focusing on what really matters, Obama's answer of redistribution.

Average American said...

Yes Griper, the left and the left media can't let NOBAMA's "misspoken" moment get any air, it might just fly. They will continue to do what they do best, and that is to bury anything that might help McCain and anything that might hurt NOBAMA. We should expect nothing less than their 100% commitment to that.
