Look at this disgusting shit!

Unbelievable!

What obviously sailed over the heads of these brainiacs is that, the more houses they break into and take over, the fewer banks out there will be willing to lend money to poor people, no matter how trustworthy or stable they are.

Don't hold your breath expecting the scumbag MSM to report on those stories and tie it back to thugs like acorn. They're either far too biased to report such things or are too stupid to connect the dots placed before them.

So thanks to scumbags like acorn, people are actually going to get shafted and will never actually own a home. Gee, ain't socialism and leftist thuggery great.

It's amazing how these people make crime seem so reasonable.

Joe,

Sorry to change the topic, but I was looking at your Obama clock and I've come to realize how frightening that "O" with the red stripe is.

I go to college and I see people wearing shirts with that symbol on it. Never in my life have I ever witnessed such a cult built around a presidential candidate.

Maybe we should call it an "Obastika", lol. I fear historians might refer to it this way...

This NUT was arrested although I'm not holding my breathe over a real sentence.

After the massive fraud committed during the elections, ACORN figures it can get away with pretty much anything!

Ugh!!!

The fraud the previous poster sites was committed against ACORN. And although I disagree with the method the ACORN guy used, I have sympathy for the lady that lost her house. I do have some experience with lending practices involving people with shaky credit. They are horribly taken advantage of. Their loan terms are such that it is almost impossible to repay. And they're hostage to whatever terms the borderline loan sharks want. Desperate people do desperate things folks. Be glad you are in the situation the foreclosed lady is in.

MK, The story gets a lot worse. The bank sold that house 7 months ago! Somebody should end up in jail. We'll see.

Shoprat, nothing reasonable about it---to most of us.

CH, I have been calling it a cult and comparing it to Jonestown for quite a while now. It really IS a cult!

Chuck, that may depend on whether or not the new owners press charges. Brooke, yes, and so far they have been right. Double UGH!

Truth, come on now, just what fraud did ACORN suffer? They tried to fraudulently register thousands of dead people ,illegal aliens, and double register people. Over 400,000 registrations out of a total of 1,300,000 were defective. Either ACORN tried to commit fraud, or it is being run by a bunch of dumb motherf###ers. As for the rest of the story, here it is:

Donna Hanks initially purchased her home (315 South Ellwood, Baltimore, MD 21224) on 7/06/2001 for $87,000. She refinanced in 2005 for $270,000, and went into bankruptcy in 2006. The $300 a month increase was actually $340 a month. This is what she agreed to as she was over $10,000 behind in her payments. The house was sold in July 08, but they couldn't get her out until September 08 after not paying anything for over a year. The home was legally sold months ago so the bank doesn't even still own it. That puts her and ACORN in a pretty nasty predicament.
This woman was given every chance to pay her mortgage but no, she had to go and tap her house like an ATM, blow all the money on God knows what and now expects to be treated like a victim and have us taxpayers pay for her stupidity and greed...with the blessings of these creepy ACORN Marxists.

There wasn't any discrimination here, the evicted woman was white. What she did was go deeply into debt by taking out a home equity loan, spent it all on whatever, had no way of paying it back and thus had the house repossessed. There were no laws forcing her to put her house in hock, she did this to herself.

Yeah somebody ought to end up in jail, but in this climate, i doubt anything will be done to them.

the thugs show their true colors hun!

The new homeowner can sue all they want ... with the billions of dollars ACORN will receive as "payback" from the Obama administration, they can well afford to keep this in the courts for years and years.

Naturally, no one at ACORN will be held accountable for lawlessness. What a country, huh?

MK, depending on whatever damage was done, and how nice and forgiving the new owners are, she and the ACORN idiots who broke in may end up real sorry for what they did.

Angel, they sure do, and that color is EVIL!

Mustang, maybe the real owners can get ACLU on their side and we can watch a REAL MUD-SLINGING CONTEST, at our expense of course.

The cycle of taking advantage of the poor continued here AA. Dumb bank loaned a poor woman with less than stellar intellect and credit more than she could afford. Then dumb bank loaned her more money to pay bills she couldn't afford to pay. Plenty of blame to go around. And where were these wonderful new owners that bought the house seven months ago AA? Were they the ones that sprayed the walls with graffiti?

It sucks to be poor and desperate.

Law and Order Teacher said...

I will have to agree with truth on one count, the bank that flipped that house for that amount should be out of business. But they will be bailed out by the government.

As for the woman she has to be so damn stupid that she has someone tie her shoes for her. Does she not get that her house wasn't worth the loan? Hell, I'm just a dumb history teacher and I get that math.

As AA said I would like to know what she spent her lottery winnings on.

As for the ACORN guy they ought to charge him with burglary. Maybe he can register some of his fellow prisoners in time for the 2010 election.

Average American said...

Truth, I have no idea where the new owners were. They had started remodeling the place, I guess the house had been "used" by gang members, or God only knows who while it was empty. What I do know for certain is that we should not be bailing out this dummy home buyer, OR the bank that loaned her the cash. That is bullshit!

L&O Teacher, both the woman who lost the house and the idiot with the bolt cutters both belong in jail. Breaking and entering is not just a little bit of "civil disobedience." It is a VERY serious crime, a felony!

Don't EVEN get me going on the voter registration fraud!

JoMala "Truth 101" Kelly said...

WE're closer on this than you think AA. The home buyer was poor and ignorant. That isn't a crime though. LaOT is right. The bank that loaned her and refinanced her are crooks. They took advantage of the poor dumb lady and took advantage of the investment house that bought her loan as part of a bundle. I've always said you can't fight poverty and stupidity. The poor lady was taken advantage of by a bank and now ACORN is using her for whatever publicity it can get.

Average American said...

Basically, you are right truth, BUT, my question to you is "Should we taxpayers be forced to pay for her stupidity?" My answer is a RESOUNDING N O! I get the impression that this is where we disagree. Please correct me if I am wrong.

JoMala "Truth 101" Kelly said...

You are correct that we as taxpayers should not have to pay for her , I prefer the term ignorance in her case. The problem was that this type of lending occured in the first place. This is where we will disagree AA. I would promote legislation to help people that can't borrow conventionally into loans they could pay back and NOT bankrupt themselves out of or simply get tired and walk away. Tough love is sometimes all some people understand.

Law and Order Teacher said...

Truth,
I would love to see the government work on some legislation to make loans payable. That would certainly solve a major problem. I wonder what form that would take? Maybe the low interest type of the old FHA, GI loan variety or first time homebuyer specials.

I certainly don't want to pay for someone else's irresponsibility. When it's all said and done, if you can't afford it don't buy it. Rent until you can afford. That's what I did.

Average American said...

Truth, you're wrong, we do not disagree there. I go back further back in the time period however and partially blame the federal government for forcing banks to over-relax their lending practices vis-a-vis the Community Reinvestment Act. Couple that (in some cases) with over-zealist bankers and "ignorant" borrowers, and you get the f###ed up mess we find ourselves with today.

L&O Teacher and Truth:

Now, if the G.D. politicians could just take a cue from us and DISCUSS this shit, just MAYBE they could get a clue about what to do. You know, if ACORN really gave a shit about helping the lower class, they could provide a valuable service by mentoring these people on home ownership and the associated costs and responsibilities, keeping in mind that NOT EVERYONE should be buying a home. After all, SOMEBODY has to rent all those available apartments you know. I might not even be adverse to some of my taxpayers dollars going to that type of service. As far as what type of loans, I don't want to subsidize them. If people just plain don't have the means to buy, then they should be in a rent. The government should be putting the money they are spending into teaching these people how to fish, not in buying the fish for them, because they will ALWAYS have to feed them. The amount of money being spent is probably more than adequate, it is just that it is being spent foolishly, and it always has been, with no insight to the future.

I guess what I am trying to say is that I am sick and tired of Uncle Sam shoveling our money into a bottomless pit. Make those dollars count!! Make people pull themselves out of the gutter by giving them a hand up, NOT A HAND OUT!!
