February is over. Black History Month is over. I suggest March be called White History Month. Yellow, brown, red, blue, whatever, anyone of any other color, feel free to pick a month for yourself and the people of your color. Plenty of months to go around. Have at it! Who wants April?

I am thankful it's over! My kids have learned nothing but "black history" and it's a little bit annoying when they don't know the slightest thing about our government or our country's history. Gotta love the public school system! (sigh)

Without the white man, there wouldn't have been a black-history month. Heck we wouldn't even have America, the car, the flushing toilet or the western world to bloody escape to from third-world crapholes if it weren't for the white man. Take the rest of the 11 months guys.
Sorry but all that would do is bring out the enforcers of the double standard. Better yet, let's do away with black history and month and just go with history.

Seriously, though, great idea. We need a white history month, a WET channel, and a NAAWP. Oh, and a CWC (Congressional White Congress).
Fair is fair, and it's appropriate to celebrate ALL of our colors - after all, aren't we ALL Americans, first and foremost?
I got a better idea...let's try not to separate each other by colors.
I'm not saying we should get rid of "black history" month but maybe we should call it "civil rights" history or something like that instead.
I am really sick of hearing about the first "black attorney general", "black president", or "Indian governor". Can we just drop the damn color-coding?
My intentions for posting this particular subject were to see just what kind of response it would garner. I was not at all surprised to find that everyone is pretty much on the same wavelength. There does not seem to be any racists here, but people are ready to point a finger at the problem, and that problem is that this type of activity is what keeps the whole racial issue alive. People like Eric Holder are part of the PROBLEM, not part of the solution. We are NOT cowards, but we ARE tired of the double standard. It's ok for blacks to talk about, and bitch about, racism, BUT, that topic is off-limits to whites. To that I have to answer "BULLF###ING SHIT!"
Before he can even begin to think honest, open discussions on race are possible, this type of "oh, the poor mistreated black people" crap has to stop. Get rid of the black only stuff such as Black History Month, NAACP, the Congressional Black Caucus, Miss Black America, and Historically Black Colleges. You will find that the majority of White America is past race. I agree there are some who are not, skinheads, KKK, and others who still live in the pre1950's.
As I was looking through my visitors on sitemeter, I found one that had arrived by Googling "White History Month." Wow! I was some surprised when it turned out that I was NOT the only blogger to have that brainstorm. I found my post the FIRST listing out of 5435 entries. A few of them were good reading.

Jenn, I find myself railing against this whole double standard crap more and more every year. If people truly want to get past racism, they have to let go of it. Most whites already have! Welcome back!

Z, yes, it would cause a HUGE uproar were it to be seriously considered. I hope people realize that I was not really serious, although eventually, I may change my mind, if the mentality persists much longer.

AOW, I would have to call it that. It's just one more example of what some people call "reverse discrimination". I hate that word because, as far as I am concerned, racisism goes both ways, but with the same name. Putting "reverse" as the adjective tends to lessen the charge to a misdomeaner and that is just P.C. CRAP!

DD2, yeah, the market crash is killing me. I might actually have to work for a few more years than I had planned. That sucks!, and I blame NObama for the bulk of the crash. Every time he opens his friggin pie hole, I lose more money, so of course I pray he keeps that disgusting mouth of his SHUT.

Nobody knows what "caucasion" even means. "African American" means Americans decended from the peoples originating from Africa, everyone who has had any kind of schooling has to learn that. "Caucasion American" means Americans decended from the peoples originating from the caucus mountains.
Were not white, were caucasion, white isn't a color, it's the absense of color, look it up, or look at a color wheel. The NAACP today is racist against whites and jews, They recently even had to fire their dallas president for his open anti-semetic coments. If people learned even the first thing about caucasion history, they wouldn't be so quick to think of caucasions as monsters, like they do.
Before anyone reads this, remember I am NOT a racist, I am just saying the truth, and sometimes the Truth hurts.
I'm a student in a private school, and im really sick of black history month. That's about all we have been doing in febuary, even in math class! (that was a very interseting)
Yet we have never done any white history month, and that made me mad. Well there are so many things that whites have done! You can deny it, but the white race was the race that conquered the WORLD! It also included the greatest military minds on earth, Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Charlemgane, Napoleon, George Washington, Arthur Wellesly, George S. Patton, Do I need to continue? Also the white race kept the torch of Western Civilzation alive since the time of Athens and Sparta, they gave us the systems of Democracy and the Republic. They had great Artist's, inventors, explorers, and politions
Of course there should be a White History month maybe in August, or July. Named after Julius Caesar and Augustus Caesar (both whith men)
I'm not encouraging racism, I think someone's race is a stupid reason to like them less or more. However at the same time, I think if there is a black history month, there should be a White month.
